We had a very busy weekend. Although we are in the thick of the Fall season, it has seemed more like Summer! We started off by going to a get-together in Brooklyn at the home of one of Jana's former classmates. Today we went to the beach to cheer on our friends who ran a race at the boardwalk. To wrap up the weekend, we went to get some more books at the library and visit the duck pond. Ellie loved walking around the pond and gathering Fall leaves for Grandma Richmond.

It's supposed to be fall, but Ellie is still wearing summer clothes. Maybe it's the best of both worlds!
sure made me homesick for New York when I saw all the beautiful fall colors....can't beat the East Coast for fall.......have seen some out here, but nothing like home!!!will look forward to "My" yearly "leaves".....looks like you all had a fun week-end...
