Ellie's first trip to Friendly's!

Thanks to allergen-friendly restaurants and their websites, we are slowly exposing Ellie to more and more eateries in our area. Today we took her for her first meal at Friendly's, which she loved!

The sugar rush began with a cotton candy drink. For the girl who is allowed juice once or twice a week, this was a very big deal!

After dinner of a hot dog and fries, she had a cone head. She thought this was the neatest thing ever!

Our ballerina

Today Ellie had her first official dance class and she loved it! She is actually taking a "movement class" this summer and in the fall will start a ballet and tap class. Three of her good friends are in this class with her, which she is very happy about. They all looked adorable in their pink outfits! Ellie told us that her favorite part of class today was running around the room and playing the tambourine.

We are thrilled to welcome our niece, Adelyne Grace, into the world! She is a cutie and we can't wait to meet her!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Fourth of July! We had a wonderful day that started with our local parade. Last year Lori had to leave a few minutes into the parade because Ellie was terrified of the noise, but this year we all made it through! We meet up with a big group of friends every year and our group just keeps growing. This year we took up half the length of the block. Ellie had a blast getting candy and some of our very generous big kid friends helped or shared with her. Audrey hung out on Mimi and Boppa's laps, just enjoying all the sights and sounds. This evening we went out for burgers with Mimi and Boppa and are now all settled in for the night. Two exhausted little girls are sound asleep in their beds and the other two are heading that way! Happy Fourth!
