Happy Fourth of July! We had a wonderful day that started with our local parade. Last year Lori had to leave a few minutes into the parade because Ellie was terrified of the noise, but this year we all made it through! We meet up with a big group of friends every year and our group just keeps growing. This year we took up half the length of the block. Ellie had a blast getting candy and some of our very generous big kid friends helped or shared with her. Audrey hung out on Mimi and Boppa's laps, just enjoying all the sights and sounds. This evening we went out for burgers with Mimi and Boppa and are now all settled in for the night. Two exhausted little girls are sound asleep in their beds and the other two are heading that way! Happy Fourth!

glad you had good weather for the 4th. we had a nice 'pot-luck' with Beccie and many family members...still not dark here yet, so the fireworks are yet to start.... cute pic of girls......
It was a FABULOUS parade. Lots of candy for Ellie thanks to her quick pal Tom. Audrey wasn't afraid at all. I wonder if she will be next year or if because she is baby #2, she is just used to loud noises. Really did love the burger place too!
Looks like a very fun day! I can't believe how big Ellie is looking!
It was July 4, 1963. 20-mo old Lori was TERRIFIED at the sound of fireworks at National City, CA. ...
