Oh boy, is it! We have had a "wintry mix" today of freezing rain and snow and it is a big mess out there now. We spent the day inside and only escaped for a few minutes of fresh frozen air. Ellie desperately wanted to play in the snow so I took her to get our mail at the end of the block. It was a slushy walk in the freezing rain! Now we're waiting for dinner and playing a game of Memory. A fun family night!

I wish she had been here. We had lots and lots of deep snow. The neighborhood boys were burying each other in the snow in our yard. They tapped on the window for us to see. Ellie would have loved to see all the excitement.
