This weekend we enjoyed a few of summer's greatest offerings. Sunny weather, a BBQ with friends, swimming, sunflowers, and lots and lots of watermelon!

At the BBQ, Ellie had her first hot dog and proceeded to eat 1 1/2! At this point though she's just dipping her finger into the ketchup and eating that :-)

Yes, Aunt Barbie, the curls are coming in! I keep hearing from other people though that most kids this age have curls (did Kyleigh??) so we won't know for sure until she's a little older, I guess. It was nice to talk to you yesterday and Ellie was still talking about you this morning!

Truly the best parts of summer!!! Ellie already knows how to enjoy them all. I am so glad that she made a special new friend at the barbecue.

To answer your question...No Kyleigh did not have any curls at any time! Maybe most kids do...but not her..LOL Her hair came in stick straight...
