Visitors!

Ellie's Aunt Barbie and cousin Kyleigh are here visiting from California and we couldn't be happier. Ellie was a little startled though to find visitors when she woke up this morning! She and Kyleigh are already the best of friends. Ellie adores her big cousin (and I think the feeling is mutual)! We're looking forward to a week of fun and will post more video or pictures of their visit soon.

We hope that Uncle Lee will be able to join us next time - we miss you!

Swinging in spring

Tuesday was a beautiful spring day - 72 degrees and sunny! We stopped at Rita's on the way home and Ellie had her first Italian Ice. When we got home, we took Ellie to the playground to enjoy the sunshine. For the first time, she really loved the swings and we couldn't get her out of it. What you can't see in the video though are her very red lips and tongue from her cherry Italian Ice!

Banana Bread

We started this blog so that we could share Ellie's life with family and friends who we are not able to see as often as we would like. For the first post, we thought we'd share pictures from our day. This morning we got up at our usual weekend time of 6:15 and by 10 am, we had banana bread fresh out of the oven! Ellie was quite the helper...

(Note the box of "Egg Replacer" - after our trip to the emergency room last weekend, Ellie saw an allergist and we have found eggs to be the culprite.)

It's ready to go in the oven and Ellie is ready for a nap!
